ConnectBooster was created out of pain.
A pain that we most certainly do not endure alone and one that most of our IT partners also struggle with.
Before we developed ConnectBooster, we were not being paid on time, we had outstanding accounts receivable, slow-paying clients, and in the end were not able to leverage our PSA platform in order to boost productivity and profitability.
Often times, our payments process was miserable. We were “doing” a lot of things in order to solicit our monthly billing statements, but it was all manual. Like your IT business, we invested in a PSA tool (ConnectWise) to keep track of our customers through ticketing functionality, having the ability to document client history, grab lost revenue, automate redundant tasks and eliminate “dropping the ball”. But our PSA tool wasn’t enough. And whether your MSP uses Autotask or ConnectWise, as we do, your PSA provider will not get the money your MSP is owed into your bank account. And that’s a problem.
As the loyal users of our PSA solution, we wanted to develop tools that avoided these inefficiencies and it was important to us to control our most important process: getting paid through solid collections. It was at this critical point that we realized that we did not have the ability to automate our most important process – collecting our cash, without lifting a finger, on a consistent basis.
So we did what most stressed-out entrepreneurs do: we went seeking a solution, and when we couldn’t find it, we built it ourselves. But before we set out to solve our invoicing stresses, here was our wish list:

- Get paid anytime by allowing our customers to pay online, at their convenience.
- Eliminate once and for all the excuse “I didn’t see the invoice.”
- Reduce the time spent answering inquiries about billing.

- Automate the redundant tasks of bookkeeping.
- Be deeply integrated into our PSA and accounting software.
As we mentioned earlier, when we went seeking a solution and couldn’t find it, we just built it ourselves, and ConnectBooster was born.
