ConnectBooster for ConnectWise FAQ

Will our customers be able to see invoice details like the ConnectWise invoices or do they see the stripped down details that QuickBooks has?

A. ConnectBooster gives your customers all the details in their invoices, because we actually show them the ConnectWise invoice via the ConnectWise API. For invoices that don’t exist in ConnectWise because you created them in QuickBooks, we make the full details in the QuickBooks invoice viewable.

Are customers able to print their invoices?

A. Yes, invoices viewed in the ConnectBooster Payments Portal can be printed.

How are you processing credit cards and e-checks?

A. ConnectBooster works through our parent company BNG Payments. – a nationally and internationally registered ISO in the electronic payments industry. You’ll never pay more with BNG!

Does the online payment go straight into my bank account or does it go through you?

A. The payment is deposited directly into your bank account by the payments processor. The money does not go through our account or held in our account in any way.

How do customer payments show up in QuickBooks?

A. Our technology connects the ConnectBooster Payments Portal to your QuickBooks data so that customer payments are automatically recorded in QuickBooks for you. No manual entry is required. Best of all, the customer payments are reflected in ConnectBooster and in QuickBooks, automatically!

Do we have to pay per user or per customer?

A. No. We license the ConnectBooster Customer Portal on a per-company basis. You do not need to pay extra for each internal staff person or each external customer.

Are software updates included in the pricing?

A. Yes! Updates are included in the ConnectBooster subscription fee.

Is ConnectBooster secure?

A. Yes! ConnectBooster accesses payment data using the BNG Gateway’s PCI Compliant Customer Vault. Specifically we utilize Point to Point Encryption and Tokenization via our patented 3-step redirect method of card authorization. ConnectBooster nor any systems within your network ever store payment information.
