System generated emails are not being sent or are not being received.
- These emails may be diverted into folders or spam, always check alternate locations to confirm if this may be the cause.
- If you are using the advanced notification SMTP feature, double check that the proper credentials are in place in the CB admin panel under Setup+Company Information+Customize Email Settings (SMTP Settings).
- A quick way to test these settings is to log out and use the “Forgot Password” link to attempt to email yourself your password. If the SMTP credentials are valid you will receive your password reset link in 3-5 minutes. If they are incorrect, you will get an error message in the upper left of your screen. If you receive this error and the settings in the CB panel appear correct, make sure they still match the configuration you created on your companies email system.
